The journey our program initiative has gone through in developing cannabis seed genetics focused on tolerance has been rewarding. This article introduces several of the questions that shaped the work.
Introduction
Seeds of Tolerance began as a group of private independent researchers involved in international medical cannabis programs. Our work explores different cultivars of the cannabis species and the relationship between genetics and tolerance.
Methodology
Our research program has support from guests and private donors. Areas of focus include:
- Strain research: Exploring different cultivars and genetic backgrounds.
- Potency and yield: Tracking plant outcomes as part of a selection process.
- Terpene profiling: Observing changes in the plant’s aromatic compounds over time.
- Tolerance analysis: Considering a range of cannabinoids in our research.
Results
We aim to increase awareness of breeding research and share results from our work through Seeds of Tolerance.
