Humanity in Action
Humanity in action works to build global leadership, defend democracy, protect minorities and improve human rights. By giving American and European students the opportunity to interact with human rights leaders of today, Humanity in Action inspires, engages, and empowers the human rights leaders of the future.
Youth Venture
Youth Venture helps to empower young people ages 12-20 by providing them all the tools necessary to create civic-minded organizations, clubs or businesses. A Venture can be any youth-created, youth-led organization designed to provide a positive lasting benefit in a school, neighborhood, or large community. They provide access to a variety of resources including: a national network of like-minded young people, media opportunities and up to $1,000 in seed capital needed to launch their organizations.

Alliance for Women's Equality
The Alliance for Women's Equality (AWE) seeks to advance gender equality and helping build sustainable organizations that protect and promote women's and girls' rights. We offer two types of programming: client consulting services and public advocacy programs. We provide pro bono development, strategic planning, and communications consulting to grassroots nonprofit organizations that protect and promote women and girls. On the advocacy side, we conduct independent research on nonprofit sustainability issues, as well as host public education and outreach programs, such as our documentary film series and author readings.
Art for Refugees in Transition
Art for Refugees in Transition (A.R.T.), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, helps rebuild communities in refugee camps worldwide through preservation of indigenous arts. A.R.T. provides curricula and training programs to engage both children and adults in visual, performing and creative arts drawn from their own cultures.
Children of Abraham
Children of Abraham seeks to build an international community of Muslim and Jewish youth that celebrates their religious identities. Through an engaging project involving a photographic exploration of Jewish and Muslim communities around the world, and honest, unflinching online dialogue, participants form a network of advocates and ambassadors for ground-breaking Muslim-Jewish relations in six continents.
Facing History and Ourselves
Facing History and Ourselves is an international educational and professional development organization whose mission is to engage students of diverse backgrounds in an examination of racism, prejudice, and anti-Semitism in order to promote the development of a more humane and informed citizenry.
GYAN
GYAN believes that critical issues facing the planet now demand our attention and action; and that if we are to solve these problems in our life, then we must act, and combine our efforts to guarantee a future of peace, justice and sustainability. GYAN is affiliated to the United Nations Department of Public Information and holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic & Social Council (ECOSOC).
NYChildren
NYChildren is the initiative led by Danny Goldfield to photograph one child from every country of the world& in the hopes that if "people thought of New York as a home for children they would not see it as a target." Danny's work has recently been published in Life Magazine
Res Publica
Res Publica is a community of public sector professionals dedicated to promoting good governance, civic virtue and deliberative democracy. We work as "public entrepreneurs", choosing our location and projects based on assessments of threats to the public good and opportunities to maximise our impact. Res Publica is Latin for "the public thing" and refers to what individuals in a community hold in common or place above their self interest
Upwardly Global
Upwardly Global is a nonprofit organization that brings highly qualified immigrants and highly progressive employers together. The jobseekers we help are already permanent residents of the U.S. and work-authorized. We help them write resumes, sharpen interviewing skills and develop professional networks. We also help businesses put the right people in the right jobs and show them how to reap the benefits of diversity.
