Biographical
Profile:
Otilia is a specialist in the Educational Sciences at the National Institute of Magistrates in Romania. As a teacher and trainer, Otilia has participated in international consultancy work and developed an extensive knowledge base in education policy issues in Central and Eastern Europe.
As a Senior Program Manager at the Center Education in Bucharest for the Soros Open Network, Romania, she has managed national and international projects and conducted international networking. She has also organized international training programs for educators in Romania, Moldova, Croatia, and Macedonia.
During her fellowship, Otilia worked on a “Culture of Tolerance in Schools" project which facilitated the development of a promising network of international educational programs to promote tolerance and respect for diversity. Her goals at SoT were to learn about encouraging informed school cultures and how to critically analyze curricula.
