Biographical
Profile:
Andre-Eugene Ilboudo is from Burkina Faso and worked initially as a French teacher. He is the founder of the “Association Long Live the Peasant” and served as its Secretary General and Program Director. Under his leadership, the Association implemented a triennial strategic plan which focused on development axes including agriculture, health, education, training and women in development.
He has served as Director of the “National Association for Active Promotion” (ANPA-Prom’actif), which specializes in constructively evaluating development programs and provides advice to grassroots organizations. As Director of the “Monitoring Project of the Burkinabe Medias” he coordinated a pilot project on media in the community, which received several international sources of funding. In 2002, he led a team of journalists in evaluating and assessment of political information processes of the different political parties.
He has also served as Director of “Academy of Ouagadougou”, which provides nursery, primary and secondary education for local children. During his tenure at SoT, Andre visited a number of international organizations committed to child rights and education. He also developed a short, medium and long-term strategy plan for his future work in Burkina Faso.
